Slot machines going off
People cheering
MAX
Teenage gambling, exciting for some but could be becoming a problem…
PETER (sitting at black jack table)
There is a thrill of winning that you don't get every day. When that dealer flips you a black jack, there is no feeling that compares.
MAX
Peter is now 19 and has been coming to the casino for over a year now. Along with plenty of other teenagers of age in Minnesota, these kids maybe don’t know when to stop.
FRANK (Standing by ATM)
I feel like I want to put in more, so I can win back what I lost
MAX (stand up sitting at a slot machine)
For most teenage gamblers they like to go because of the chance to win money. What many may not know is the Casino has the better odds. Like here at Mystic Lake Casino in Prior Lake Minnesota, they created this huge gaming experience from a small profitable casino “Little Six” just across the street. Some young Gamblers however, may have the right idea…
Sounds of dealers voices
TY (at the buffet)
You know, it really didn't bother me that much. I only lost the money that I had won before and it didn't force me to quit. I went in there knowing I could lose this money, but the chance of winning makes me just want to bet bet bet!
MAX
Well maybe they still want to bet a lot of money. Young men like Ty here however knows the limit they want to spend. While Peter on the other hand may be in a bit of trouble, when asking him about how he feels when he has lost all his cash…
PETER
At first you know it is a little disappointing. I know I shouldn't bring my credit card, but I usually will go to the ATM and take out some more money.
MAX
Hopefully these youngsters find out soon that there are better ways to make money, but in the mean time they sure have been having a lot of fun. NBC news this is Max Smith
